PROCentrum only provides driving courses for (semi) government bodies from which the drivers are allowed to use optical and alarm signals as described in article 29 of the Road Traffic and Traffic Signals Regulations 1990 [RVV] or who are otherwise engaged in supervising, tracing or safety tasks.
This implies that private parties and businesses cannot use the services of PROCentrum. This choice originates from the mission of PROCentrum to contribute to the safety of drivers working in emergency services with a social interest, by means of training courses and applications.
During the training courses emphatic attention is paid to the exemplary function which may be expected from a government official. Driving skills alone are therefore not sufficient to successfully complete a PROCentrum training course. Aspects such as attitude, traffic insight and working under aggravating circumstances (including multi-tasking) form an integral part of the total evaluation of the participant.
Since participants obtain different scores for these aspects, there is the possibility within each training course to adequately anticipate that. As a result of this, the set learning objectives and final attainment levels are often achieved within the term applicable to these.
